SPIETH Adjustable Guide Bushings are guiding elements for round linear slideways with adjustable play. SPIETH guide bushes are made of high quality bearing bronze. Produced as a single piece without tapers or slots, the bushings guarantee a high level of guiding accuracy. Where an additional clamping action is required, our adjustable guide bushings are the perfect solution. Made out of spring-hardened steel their bore features a special plastic slide coating.
The degree of play can be set during installation, and subsequently optimized if required when the bushing is operational. Depending on the question of application, guide play can be adjusted either centrally using a flange cover or individually by means of integrated cheese head screws. The structural design ensures the formation of an optimum lubricating film and a lubricant reserve.
