Assembly / Dismantling
|
| |
The clamping sleeve may only be actuated when the bore and outside surface of the clamping sleeve are covered by the connecting components. Otherwise the clamping sleeves could be destroyed as a result of plastic deformation. |
|
|
| |
Assembly
- Clean the clamping sleeve, shaft and housing bore and wet slightly using low-viscosity machine oil.
- Push the clamping sleeve between the shaft and housing bore without using force.
- Actuate the clamping force. The clamping sleeve deforms to create a friction-locked connection of the shaft with the housing bore.

|
| |
Dismantling
- Release the clamping force actuator.
- The clamping sleeve relaxes and resumes its original shape. All the parts are again freely movable.
Due to the many possibilities for the initiation of clamping force, this description can only be formulated in general terms. The pictures in the assembly examples will give further information depending on the mounted situation.
